En febrero, Madrid está de Moda

February is a very special month in Madrid: Lots of things are going on and, in a few days, everything will be bathed in love (yes, Valentine’s Day is coming and we are preparing something very special for you but we will talk about this next Wednesday). Meanwhile, if something marks the beginning of the second month of the year, it is Fashion. Yes, just like this, with capital letters, because the most important fashion events of the season, the most representative, setting trends and introducing us to the Must of the forthcoming months: Momad is coming.

In IFEMA, the Trade Fair Institution in Madrid, the month will start with the opening of one of the most important halls and events in town, this is, Momad: the Fashion Fair will start next 3rd February gathering thousands of this world enthusiasts. Very diverse and interesting profiles will meeting during these days (from 3rd to 5th February) in order to set the next season trends. We will discover the designs, cuts, sizes, colours, patterns and fabrics that we will wear and surround us.

Designers, brands, fashion models, professional clothes makers, store owners,  sellers, students and bloggers / influencers, everybody has an appointment marked on their calendar. Nobody in Spain miss the great fashion appointment. And we say “Spain” since thousands of people from all over the country will travel these days to our city in order to know the trends and then chose and make orders to their stores located in the country’s territory. Nobody can afford to miss this event.  

Brands are more than prepared. Everything is ready: collections, accessories, merchandising, catalogs, models for showing samples, catering to entertain visitors, order forms (which are essential to be successful in the fair)… Everything is ready! Circa 900 domestic and international brands have, at this point, their stands already conceived. Coats, bath suits, lingerie, kids clothes, accessories, leather… You will find here everything you are looking for, if it’s fashionable.

Everything will take place in the well-known pavilions 4, 12 and 14 of IFEMA. A unique place to celebrate an event in style. However, this 2017, visitors must be proactive since improvement works are taking place in the metro line which stops in IFEMA (yes, it can be annoying but these works are for the best) and even though the Madrid City Council offers buses replacing the city line, it’s highly recommended to check in advance the options to get there for not being late.
