For children, knowing our history firsthand is one of the most interesting activities that can be enjoyed during the summer. This is a playful activity but also helps them learning things regarding our ancestors. In order to encouraging archeology among the youngest ones, the Community of Madrid government together with the City Council of Alcalá de Henares celebrate, again this summer, the activity known as “Archaeologists for a day”.

The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Community of Madrid presents a free activity to participate in the extraction and identification of the archaeological remains located in the Casa de los Grifos in Alcalá de Henares.
