Septiembre, el mes de la moda en Madrid

Madrid is one of the most important cities in the world … For lots of reasons!  Here, in our streets, day after day, week after week, the most relevant events of nearly all sectors and movements take place. Always, there is something going out in the city. It’s important to stay tuned and know what is going on, check the new trends, attend an interest conference, going to a concert or event and, why not, witness historical moments.  

Fashion world is important in Madrid. This world, one of the most demanded in the word in terms of Internet, Tourism, Leisure, has its own fixed dates that we can never miss and much less in Madrid. September is one of those highlighted in red moments (we said red, but you can highlight it with your favorite colour. Don’t forget, we are talking about fashion!) in your diary.

Since the very beginning of this month, nobody stops for a second and all the agents of this world take advantage to be in the very forefront of super fun events like the one we have experienced this week or meetings with the best well-known agents in the fair that takes place in IFEMA, which brings together the most select and specialized people of this environment.

All this started this year back on the 7th September during the Vogue Fashion Night Out 2017. The huge street display (this event takes place on the street) organized by Vogue, which is responsible for the event organization. In the Madrid neighborhoods of Salamanca, Salesas and Malasaña, it was a whole night full of colours, music, fashion and, most of all, style. We enjoyed live concerts in calle Serrano and a DJ session by Mario Vaquerizo, who is one of the most famous TV showmans in Spain right now. Also, free popcorn and cotton candy for everybody and crowded photocalls and lots, lots of surprises in all the shops in the area who joined the celebration by opening at midnight, while offering discounts and presents.

With VFNO2017, the fashion month has just started. 14th September is the key moment: many fashion brands and designers have worked for months in order to give the best in the Mercedes Fashion Week Madrid, which takes place in Madrid between the 14th and 19th September in IFEMA. This huge fashion event will host, in addition to the traditional fashion parades, several meetings, round tables, celebrations… You will keep your diary updated and will not miss anything!

After the Mercedes Fashion Week, Spanish fashion agents will introduce their fashion collections and present the upcoming fashion season in Momad.
