Estampa y Madrid Games Week en Ifema

On October 18 IFEMA, presents: ESTAMPA, the Contemporary Art Fair, and on the other hand, Madrid Games Week, the Videogame and Leisure Electronics fair.

Estampa, the Contemporary Art Fair, and Ifema have agreed to jointly organize this next edition, thus expanding the range of references in the art world such as ArcoMadrid and consolidating it as the great autumn event of the art market in Spain.

In this edition will participate 75 galleries of contemporary art and 5 institutional projects of national and international artists. There’s a General program, which highlights the level of participating galleries and the interest of the projects presented. Then there’s the program Contradicciones whose expository line confronts ideas and aesthetics that are difficult to reconcile.

The invited artist is Ángela de la Cruz, who will make an exhibition with a series of paintings made specifically for the fair. He’ll also star in one of the forums he’ll analyze: renewal and transgression in Spanish painting.

The Estampa fair will begin on Thursday, October 18 until October 21 at 9:00 pm in Hall number 2.

Madrid Games Week

The Madrid Games Week, is the great fair of the Videogame and Electronics for Leisure in Madrid and takes place once a year. The main brands of the sector will show their latest developments and releases. It’s a highly anticipated appointment for the public fond of the world of videogames.

The contents of this fair will range from software for digital entertainment, in its entertainment, education and information versions, to hardware platforms, including service providers, repair and maintenance, training and employment in digital leisure, and merchandising, among other aspects.

Therefore, Ifema has reserved for the occasion the pavilions 12, 14 and 14.1 in view of the expectations of participation and assistance of visitors. The opening will begin on Thursday, October 18, only for professionals from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 19, they will open their doors to the general public.
